Project W Presents

Unlocking the Potential of Black and Latinx Women Founders

July 16 – September 18, 2024

The Tech Equity Hub is a hybrid accelerator that provides a cohort of 8 to 10 Black and Latinx women founders the tools, resources, connections, and funding they need to scale successful tech companies.

For the program kickoff, Project W will bring all of the founders to Los Angeles for in-person workshops, teambuilding activities, and the opportunity to meet the Project W community. At the conclusion of the program, the cohort will gather in-person again in New York City for a full day of activities, including a live pitch evening, networking with the Project W community, and quality time with the members of the cohort.

While the kickoff (LA) and the culmination (NY) of the program will be full-day, in-person gatherings, the majority of the 3–month program consists of bi-weekly, virtual, workshops, 1:1 mentor sessions, and cohort community building events virtually. Our expert faculty and accomplished mentors from all over the country will cover product design and development, marketing and sales, business strategy and finance, legal, fundraising, and leadership development.

What Our Cohort is Saying

Joining Tech Equity Hub was like diving into a high-octane MBA program tailored specifically for tech entrepreneurs. It’s more than just an accelerator; it’s a comprehensive masterclass on achieving product-market fit and understanding every nuanced component required to launch and sustain a thriving tech business. But what elevated this experience was the unparalleled access to industry experts whose insights were instrumental in shaping my business vision. Coupled with this was the privilege of being part of a cohort alongside accomplished women tech leaders. Their journey, successes, and challenges provided a rich tapestry of real-world lessons, enabling me to glean strategies and tips that one can only get from years of firsthand experience. For anyone looking to fast-track their tech business aspirations, Tech Equity Hub isn’t just an accelerator, it’s a transformational journey. The expertise, community, and business acumen it offers is priceless.

Being a part of Tech equity hub was an amazing opportunity and it truly shaped my experience as a founder. I learned a lot on how to grow my startup as well as personal development. This program helped me build a community of other founders that are in the same grind as me. I would advise any founder to definitely apply, this program would equip you with opportunities to grow your startup and grow as a founder.

The Tech Equity Hub helped me confirm my knowledge in some areas, expand it in some areas, and completely reframe my approach in other areas. The quality of the hand-picked mentors who match your exact needs is unbelievable. In addition, the energy and support from fellow cohort members is inspirational.

We Are Here

Project W’s Tech Equity Hub has been the most effective accelerator to me as a female founder and woman of color. Each session was curated with speakers who were so thoughtful in their delivery and objectives. I highly recommend any founder who identifies as a woman of color apply for the next cohort for invaluable information and lifelong relationships.
