Project W Presents

TECH EQUITY HUB

Unlocking the Potential of Black and Latinx Female Founders

July 11 – September 30, 2022

Overview

The Tech Equity Hub is a virtual accelerator that provides a cohort of 8 to 10 Black and Latinx female founders the tools, resources, and connections they need to build successful tech companies. During the 12-week program the cohort will engage in workshops, 1:1 mentor sessions, and cohort community building events. Our expert faculty and accomplished mentors will cover product design and development, marketing and sales, business strategy and finance, legal, fundraising and leadership development.

At the conclusion of the program, we will bring the founders to New York City for a full day of activities, including a live pitch evening, networking with the Project W community, and quality time with the members of the cohort.

What Our Cohort is Saying

[The Tech Equity Hub] was exactly what I needed before I knew what I needed. Twice we came across challenges with a client, and either the week prior or the week after [the Tech Equity Hub] provided me with experts who spoke to our issue. As an entrepreneur you can go from being the legal department, sales, HR, marketing and back again in one week. Access to the mentors, materials, and experts was phenomenal……

My time with the Tech Equity Hub was the perfect option for me to connect with other Black women tech founders to share our experiences and learn ways to overcome the challenges we face while building our tech companies.

The Tech Equity Hub provided the right training at the right time. Not only did I learn from excellent faculty, but the connections with my cohort were extremely valuable. It was a good reminder that I am not alone on this journey of entrepreneurship.

This program gave me the resources I was trying to find on my own in the weird corners of the internet. Not only that, but there was a human element that made working with our cohort and faculty members authentic and impactful.

The Tech Equity Hub is definitely one of the best programs out there equipping women of color entrepreneurs with the resources, encouragement, and the connections that they need to successfully build impactful companies that can change the world! I loved my experience!

Project W is hands down one of the top-tier pre-seed accelerators I have participated in during my startup journey. Experiencing workshops led by legal industry expert professionals was incredibly valuable for me. The program was critical for my progress towards launch.
